I have been a geek in hiding my entire life. However, it was easy to hide because my family moved across the country from the time I was a little girl. (Not army brat - but a scientist brat. My father is a teratologist who works primarily in the field of toxicology for pharmacuetical companies). I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I still don’t know - so maybe I will never grow up! :) In my free time I watch CSI , House, and Ghost Hunters. I also am planning my wedding (in February) , which is including a lot of DIY such as silk floral arranging and designing my own dress (I have a seamstress to actually create it). My fiance and I met at karoake, which is another activity I am all for. We are also renovating our first home, a 100 year old victorian that I love. When I am working, I am contemplating the best way to improve a datawarehouse design, analyzing general admission system databases to build conversions and integrations, and creating analytical cubes. Love the Cube! Love the Cube! If I could do anything other then what I do, I would become a hair styllist and makeup artist. I love makeup - and subsequently makeup sales people tend to love me! lol. Why don’t I go do makeup? Er. . .school loans in excess. :) |
