What’s Your Latest Gadget?

So what’s the latest gadget that you bought?

A few months ago, I bought the iPod touch. I thought I’d stop there, but recently, I also bought a Sigma 10-20mm lens and a Canon EOS 40D. It was time that I upgraded the camera. :)

The Kindle is a ebook reader with virtual paper technology to make it easier to read. I would like to get one eventually.
It seems way overpriced to me, and some say to wait till they come out with a newer one, say with color.
Any thoughts/opinions?

I don’t get it! Considering the only 10% of the US is actually able to use a 3G phone, why are the new iPhone and Blackberry 3Gs such a big deal?

no really, I’ve been reading a lot of articles lately about this. not how powerfully drawn we are to buy new shoes or whatever, but how our clothes can generate *renewable* energy that we could use to, say, recharge batteries and cell phones.

there are already solar cells being used in bags and bike accessories. from what I’ve read they work great at the beach! haven’t tried one yet (they’re a bit pricey) but i’ll let you know when I do.

and the news this year is all about piezoelectric fibers… composite materials that rub together and create energy whenever you move!

what do you think, are you excited about the idea of just plugging your phone into your shirt? do you have other ideas about we’ll get out of the union of technology and stuff we wear?
