Nobody mentioned this one, so maybe I’m a bigger sci-fi nerd than i originally thought. But my first nerd crush was on Johnathan Brandis as Lucas on the show Seaquest DSV. He was the resident genius on the submarine, the youngest crew member, knew just about everything, and designed a program so he could talk to the crew’s pet dolphin.

Oh, wow, I can’t believe nobody mentioned David Hewlett (Rodney McKay on Stargate Atlantis.) Brilliant, snarky, and gorgeous!

While not a tv/movie character, this is still a pretty nerdy crush :-)

My favorite book as a kid (and still one I love!) was Madeline L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time. I’ve always wanted to date a guy like Calvin O’Keefe: the handsome high school basketball star who grows up to be a brilliant biologist and isn’t afraid of a little space travel.

I have to agree with lots of these (Grissom from CSI, Riley from National Treasure, Alton Brown)… but my favorite has to be Leonard from The Big Bang Theory. I love in the very first episode when he was trying to comfort Penny by saying paradoxes such as her still loving her ex were natural, so he cited how light behaves as waves and particles… she gave him a blank stare, but I would’ve been laughing :)

I recognize almost none of the guys mentioned before. :D I guess it’s the generational difference. My TV nerd crushes are Cody Martin(The Suite Life of Zack and Cody/Suite Life on Deck), Josh Nichols(Drake and Josh), and Freddie Benson(iCarly). Say what you will about Disney and Nick, but Cody, Josh, and Freddie are absolutely adorable and positively squeeworthy.

In The Hangover, Zach Galifianakis, that “fat jesus” looking guy. He’s not the smartest guy, but he is really nerdy, and hilarious. There’s something about Zac’s beard.
