I just joined Nerd Girls yesterday, and It’s been really interesting thus far. I think it’s great that sites like this are out there. I’m not sure that I totally match the specifications of what a ‘Nerd Girl’ should be… I’ve always considered myself a nerd and I love technology and anything to do with computers, but I don’t have much - if any - interest in mathematics or science. I’m actually planning on pursuing a major in International Studies, and focusing on language and anthropology, which are two things that have always interested me. So -although I’m not planning on being an engineer- I think this site is great and I’m glad to be here.
