Hi all. I am also in total support. I married a nerd girl myself 15 years ago--she was a Materials Science and Engineering student at the time. We met at the University’s industrial research lab as student workers.
Just after we were married we were in a hardware store. She appeared at the end of the aisle I was in holding a wrench as long as her forearm. She looked at me and asked, “Do we need a really big wrench?”
I replied, “Umm… I don’t think so.”
“Maybe you didn’t hear what I asked, do we need a really big wrench?”
We still have it 15 years later and it really is a big wrench.
We also have two kids, a boy and a girl. The girl is nine and is a freak for astronomy… a little nerd girl.
