What kinds of women’s groups do you guys have at school? I’ve been working on rebuilding Carleton’s Women and Science and Engineering branch lately, and the upcoming year should prove to be very exciting!

For me, the best female support group in my undergraduate education was my schools local chapter of SWE.  It was great to network with other engineering ladies, and work together to promote engineering to younger generations.  Plus, every year we went to the National SWE conference, and networked ourselves to death!  That’s why so many of us got great internships and jobs!

There isn’t really a woman’s group/guild here in our university.
