I know there’s a huge career fair, and that it’s $350 for professional members, and my company won’t send me.  But I might go on my own.  I really don’t need a new job though… is there other stuff there that makes it worth it?  Any advice?

It’s always good to network.  You never know when you will be wanting to make that next career move.  Also, you might find some of the seminars useful.  Just check out swe.org for a schedule :) I know that most of the NerdGirls featured on this site will be there!
