Hello everyone!  I was just wondering how pretty you have to be to be a nerd girl.  I’m smart but I don’t know if I’m pretty enough.  Thanks and look forward to chatting with everyone!

:) We have people on here who aren’t even girls, so I’d say you were pretty enough :) 9 times of 10, being pretty is all about attitude and how you see yourself.

But I don’t think I’m pretty enough to be featured as a “Nerd Girl”.

Every single person on this planet is beautiful in one way or another.  :)

Here’s a quick, but maybe not so easy to change that. Write a list of your attributes. Include everything that describes the way you look. Now, format it like a dictionary entry with pretty as the word you are describing. Print it out on a sheet of paper in an interesting font, maybe even in your favorite color, and post it on the wall or near a mirror, or where ever you’ll see it the most.
Pretty all depends on what your definition of the word is. If you start using how you look as the definition of the word, eventually that’s what pretty will become to you. You’ll start realizing that you’re great the way you are, maybe it’s just everyone else that looks funny. :)
And once you start to believe that you’re pretty, you’ll start to act like you’re pretty. And trust me, confidence in yourself is a damn pretty thing. Others will always see you the way you see yourself.

This is so true.  The people who are most pretty and attractive are so because they have confidence in themselves and how they look.  You can do whatever it takes to make yourself feel ‘pretty’ even if takes a little makeup or new clothing or hairstyle.  Start walking around with a lot of confidence in yourself and the way you look.  Mind your posture too.  Posture is a big factor in the way you look.  Start walking around with your head up, back straight, sholders back and chest out and you will look very confident.  Plus it is good for your body to have good posture.  :)
