Hi everyone, my name is Fran, I’m 20 and I live in Chile. I study at Universidad de Chile’s engineering school. I’m currently on what they call “common plan”, which is the first 2 years you have to take for any engineering or scientific career, like physics, astronomy, biotech, geophysics or geology. I’m on my 3rd semester of the common plan and then plan on following astronomy or physics. I absolutely LOVE physics!

Well, just wanted to introduce myself. I think the whole Nerd Girls idea is awesome, we really need to encourage more girls to get into engineering/scientific careers, because we definitely have what it takes!
